HOW IT WORKS FOR CLOTHES
I will find all the things in the store that you can wear and will help you decide what you should buy. I do this very fast and save you tons of time. I see things in styles and colors that you would not otherwise try. Countless clients have said to me, “I never would have even noticed that!” There are colors and styles that you walk right by, because what you see is a habit. You will save time and money. You will make fewer mistakes. One mistake that you never wear could pay for about two hours of help from me. You end up with less clothes, but more to wear.
HOW IT WORKS FOR EYEWEAR
We meet at the eyewear store you have chosen and make the best choices out of the dozens of choices based on your face shape, your clothing personality and your coloring. It really cuts down on mistakes for this very high ticket item. One hour minimum charge.
HOW IT WORKS FOR YOUR HAIRDO
I choose and explain hairstyles for you at your hair appointment so you get the one that flatters your face. I have a stylist who listens to what I request. Or we can use yours, if they are amenable. One hour minimum charge.
WHERE WE SHOP
The Maine Mall is the closest to me, but we can shop anywhere you like. I charge for travel to farther locations. Many clients tell me there is nothing for them at the mall. Then we go there and find them many outfits (it’s the “I never would have looked at that” syndrome). What is unsought remains undetected.
YOUR FRIEND CAN SHOP TOO
We can shop for two people at the same time. I do not recommend more. Each participant pays individually. The fee cannot be shared.
PERSONAL SHOPPING FEE
$75.00 hour. Two hour minimum for clothing and accessories. (One hour minimum for eyewear and hairdo.) We can find many outfits in two hours. Most clients opt for two or three hours. Partial hours after two hours are charged in ½ hour increments. A travel fee applies for considerable distances from Portland.
